DIRRUM FESTIVAL #CBR18

FOR THE COMMON GOOD

The 2018 Dirrum Festival promised to once again provoke, challenge and inspire action.

The festival, held at Radford College on Saturday the 18th of August 2018, was a student-run, student-driven event. The Dirrum team was led by a group of 17- and 18-year-olds driven by their passion for the exploration of dangerous ideas through captivating and passionate speakers.

The 2018 Festival featured some of the most high profile and engaging speakers in Australia. Their talks provoked, challenged, and were the catalyst for in-depth and thought provoking conversation. You were welcomed to discuss, challenge, and debate the issues explored by the speakers with the speakers themselves as you discovered the pop-up market featuring local, interstate, and international food, business and social enterprise.

Introducing the festival organisers for 2018. Affectionately dubbed as 'Team18', this group of students worked hard to keep the Dirrum Dirrum momentum up in 2018.
